I see your point for this poster and I do believe that Ron Paul is America's last hope but please keep in mind that our hope doesn't come from man but from God. Is God using Ron Paul....Yes! I do believe God is.
I agree with the last comment. Just because something sounds good in theory (and even I admit old-style libertarianism sounds pretty good) doesn't mean you should vote for it. America needs to take action, not close down and hide, which is what Paul wants to do. It's easy to get distracted by a nice guy with an appealing ideology, but this is serious business. Look at the facts.
Terminating: -the IRS -U.S. Department of Education (and all state control of education) -the Department of Health and Human Services -Federal Emergency Management Administration (FEMA) -Federal Reserve
Others -Extreme support for the right to keep and bear arms -Stopping foreign aid -Totally free trade -Immediate retreat from Iraq -Supporting nonviolent tax resistance -The Sanctity of Life Act of 2005 -Support for Capital Punishment -Support of the electoral college system -Defense of Marriage Act -Support for "Don't ask, don't tell" -State's rights regarding sex laws (oposition to Lawrence v. Texas precedent) -State's rights on environment protection
I was pretty well impressed when i saw the man on Maher about a year ago. Then i looked up what his program was. I often wonder how many Ron Paul supporters actually know what he stands for, rather than what he oposes
actually, he's a Republican...but his political ideologies are Constitutionalist first, and Libertarian second.
He runs as a Republican, because, in essence, that's what the Republican party USED to be (Constitutionalist-Libertarian)...on top of which, he realizes it's the only way to effectively get elected (let's admit it, if you're an independent, it's almost impossible to win).
